Welcome back to the Spring Semester RSO Advisors! We are excited to continue offering a variety of workshops designed specifically with RSO Advisors in mind! After getting some feedback from our advisors this past fall, our Spring workshop lineup will include some returning topics as well as some new topics to help you in your advisor role.
We’ll kick things off with two Advisor Annual Orientations, designed for new advisors as well as those of you that might need a refresher. Topics will include SOFS information, event planning, NvolveU basics, general policies and procedures, and other developmental opportunities for you and your RSO.

Our final RSO Advisor Workshop for the month of January is a Deep Dive into SOFS, where advisors can learn more about the financial side of the Student Organization world. Raquel O’Grady from the Student Organizations Financial Services (SOFS) office will take us on a deep dive into the ins and outs of student organization money management, the current SOFS processes, and helpful resources that are available to RSOs. We encourage Advisors to invite their current RSO Treasurers to attend this workshop as well!
