Recognition season is kicking off here on campus, and there a handful of awards for students, as well as faculty and staff that are now accepting nominations!
James V. Griesen Exemplary Service to Students Award
Nominations are being accepted through Feb. 1 for this award, which recognizes a University of Nebraska–Lincoln faculty or staff member who offers extraordinary and sustained support to students. All faculty and staff are eligible for nomination. Nominators may be any university student, faculty member, staff member or administrator. The recipient will receive a $1,500 stipend and be honored at the Student Luminary Award reception on March 8.

2019 Student Luminary Awards
The Office of Student Affairs is requesting nominations for these inaugural awards, which are designed to shine a light on exceptional undergraduate and graduate students who make a difference through their leadership and extraordinary commitment to improving the campus or community while excelling in their academic pursuits. Eight undergraduates and two graduate students will be recognized. Award recipients will receive a $1,000 monetary award and will be honored at a reception on March 8, 2019.
