Rosemarie Holz – Advisor to Student Alliance Gender Equality and Sexual Health
Rosemarie earned the Hazel R. McClymont Distinguished Teaching Fellow Award from the College of Arts and Sciences. Holz received the award during the college's Celebration of Excellence.
Eric Einspahr – Advisor to the Husker Bass Anglers and UNL Child Life Club
Eric, an academic adviser in the CEHS, has received the Excellence in Advising Award from the National Academic Advising Association. The awards recognize individuals who demonstrate qualities and practices that make significant contributions to the improvement of academic advising.
Leah Sandall – Advisor to Campus Impact
Leah has co-authored an article in the journal Global Food Security titled "Risks and opportunities of GM crops: Bt maize example." The article provides an overview of the risk assessment process used to determine the potential hazards of genetically modified crops and help people understand how genetically modified crops have been evaluated.
Our goal at Student Involvement is to get students connected and involved, and to provide them opportunities to make a positive impact on campus, in the community, and beyond. Those impacts, whether big or small, are worth celebrating and we want to help you and your organization do just that. We at Student Involvement want to share with the campus community all the great ways the students, faculty and staff #LevelUpUNL to make themselves and our Husker community better. Has someone recently taken on a leadership position or additional responsibilities within their club? Volunteered to help when it wasn’t expected? Gone above and beyond to mentor a friend, co-worker, roommate, etc? We want to hear about it!
