Helpful Highlight
---------------------
Each week I will be sharing tips, campus resources, and skills that can help you personally, academically, and professionally.

This week’s highlight is the Center for Academic Success and Transition (CAST)!

CAST has Academic Success Coaches that can meet with you one-on-one to create a personalized success plan that works for you. You can set up an appointment with a Coach on MyPLAN.

CAST also offers one-hour workshops every week on Tuesdays at 4:00pm and Wednesdays at 5:00pm. If you would like to attend in person, workshops are in Love Library South 221. They also livestream the workshops on their Facebook page, so you can tune in from wherever you have access to internet.

This month’s workshop topics:
* Reading Strategies (September 8th & 9th)
* Note Taking Strategies (September 15th & 16th)
* Critical Thinking (September 22nd & 23rd)
* Test Preparation (September 29th & 30th)

For more information about CAST, visit their website here: https://success.unl.edu/
