HELPFUL HIGHLIGHT

Each newsletter I will be sharing tips, campus resources, and skills that can help you personally, academically, and professionally. This newsletter’s highlight is considerations when dropping a class.

Before dropping a class you should always check in with me and with Husker Hub. There are a handful of important things to think about before you drop that class:
-Do you live on campus?
-Will this impact your scholarships/financial aid?
-How will this impact your pathway to graduation?
-What does your health insurance policy say? Sometimes, if you’re a dependent on a parent’s health insurance, there will be a stipulation that you have to be a full-time student.
-What is the impact of having a “W” on your transcript?

ADVISING UPDATE

Please schedule an appointment with me to talk about classes for this summer/fall—an appointment is a better way to talk through everything than an email. Schedule your appointment in advance! If you have an urgent question, I also have drop-in advising times on Tuesdays (10:00am-12:00pm) and Fridays (1:00pm-3:00pm).

Note that the last day to withdraw from a full semester spring course is coming up on April 16th!

IMPORTANT DATES
