Second 5-Week Summer Session (June 7 - July 9)
Online
Dr. Jagodinsky (kjagodinsky@unl.edu)

Readings profile notable women from past & present as we also learn about Native women's responses to colonialism & dominant forms of patriarchy. We'll focus on gender, sexuality, & kinship; women's economic, political, & cultural roles, & learn more about Native women's ongoing work in support of revitalization & sovereignty.

Great for Pre-Law students!
Pre-law students may be interested in this class as it will address federal Indian policy and state law as fundamental aspects of Native women’s activism in the past and present. Additional topics covered are described on the attached flyer. This class is recommended for students in the Junior year and above and would be best taken on its own, not at the same time as another summer class. More information available on the attached flyer.
