***Cargill/Yeutter Institute: Global Markets Research Internships - Summer 2022, paid
Deadline is March 11. A team of up to 4 students will spend the summer collaborating with each other and researching applied global market topics for Cargill under the mentorship of Yeutter faculty John Beghin. Potential topics include commercialization of sustainability, renewable fuels and other external disruptors to the agriculture and food production landscape. Interns will be onboarded by Cargill and work with Cargill leadership on a weekly basis to shape their research. Applicants should have solid analytical and quantitative skills.
Qualifications
They are looking for UNL students who are rising juniors or seniors, self-starters, collaborative, in solid academic standing in their economics and business courses and who show creativity, a strong work ethic, and excellent communication skills. Students should have solid analytical and quantitative skills (micro-economics, statistics, Excel, econometrics, etc.).
Compensation and Timeline
Selected students will receive a $3,000 stipend and are expected to work with teammates in Lincoln for 10 weeks this summer (May 23-July 29), working 30 hours/week. This opportunity will require full involvement and is not to be combined with concurrent internship opportunities.
