Come and intern in Japan with Global Studies!
Senshu University Matsudo Junior High School needs two (2) English-speaking interns this coming Spring for their intensive English courses. Applicants should be conscientious, creative and self-motivated. Interns are expected to present their own culture to the students and actively assist teaching staff. No Japanese language ability is needed to apply.
Interns are able to visit Japan through a Cultural Activities Visa; the application process is facilitated by staff at the school. Also, interns are expected to arrive fully insured. Check with Education Abroad concerning this important matter.
The school provides the following for incoming interns:
>>Roundtrip airfare (arranged by intern & reimbursed in Yen upon arrival in Japan)
>>Fully-furnished, single-occupancy apartment close to school (rent & utilities paid)
>>A budget of at least $3,000 for food and personal expenses is recommended.
The Senshu University Matsudo Junior High, founded in 2000, is a private institution with a highly competitive admission process. Senmatsu is located in Matsudo City, Chiba prefecture, a suburb of Tokyo. The school has a strong emphasis on its English curriculum, teaching seven hours to students every week.
