Nebraska Ambassadors Forum
Nebraska Ambassadors Forum

Join us for the annual Nebraska Ambassadors Forum, featuring four former U.S. ambassadors in conversation on this year’s theme: “Diplomacy: Changing Fundamentally or Just Revolving.”

The discussion will explore whether recent shifts in U.S. foreign policy represent a true transformation in global engagement or a return to earlier traditions in American diplomacy. Panelists will share their perspectives on how these changes are shaping alliances, development priorities, and international strategy.

Moderated by Ambassador Ronald E. Neumann (former U.S. Ambassador to Algeria, Bahrain, and Afghanistan), the panel includes Ambassador Kathleen Doherty, Ambassador Philip T. Reeker, and Honorable Susan Reichle, former Counselor to the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).

This annual forum brings distinguished diplomats to Nebraska to engage students, faculty, and community members in timely conversations about the evolving practice of diplomacy and America’s role in the world.
