El Centro de las Americas is looking for volunteers to work with a group called Joven Noble and Latina Leaders. Joven Noble & Latina Leaders program provides weekly group sessions for male and female youth who are “at-risk” of entering the juvenile justice system, becoming involved in gangs, or simply need support with academics and behavior based issues. Within the program, the youth participate in culturally relevant social and leadership development sessions, share a meal together, and partake in sports activities together in order to teach them positive social activities that they can continue outside of the program.
