SUMMER JOB: International Teaching Assistant

SUMMER JOB: Student Worker, Institute for International Teaching Assistants. The Office of Graduate Studies seeks highly motivated student workers to serve as classroom consultants during the Institute for International Teaching Assistants, July 25-August 5. Work hours are Monday through Friday for approximately 15-20 hours per week.

Duties include: assisting instructors in language classes, providing constructive feedback after microteaching session, videotaping and timing microteaching sessions, and other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of video equipment is essential.
• Must be team-oriented, demonstrate a professional attitude, be prompt, and reliable, and in good academic standing.
Salary is $9.00 per hour, job to begin July 25. Training session will be held on July 22; student workers will be compensated for training. Contact Hollie Swanson at hswanson5@unl.edu to complete an application.
