Due to the ever-increasing polarization in society, it is imperative that individuals learn the skills and gain practice in having open and engaging interactions across different social identities and ideologies. In this course, students will learn about the structure of productive and sustained dialogue across difference through readings and practical applications (e.g., engaging in semester-long dialogue with small groups in class).
