Little bit about Sydney:
Hello! I am excited to introduce myself as the new Academic Advisor for the School of Global Integrative Studies. I am originally from Kansas and completed my Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Leadership Studies at Kansas State University in 2016. After graduating, I spent two years in an Episcopal Service Corps program in Massachusetts-- one year on the South Coast and one year in Boston. I moved to Lincoln two years ago to pursue a Master's degree in Educational Administration here at UNL, which I finished in May. Whether it's two months in South Africa or a spontaneous weekend road trip to Canada, I love to travel every chance I get (when we aren't in a pandemic) and learn about people. In my free time, you can find me spending time with my partner and my dogs, making lattes at The Chocolate Season, or talking about the Enneagram. Now that you know a little about me, I'm looking forward to getting to know you! I am excited to connect you with opportunities you are passionate about and resources that may be helpful in achieving your goals. Know that you are always welcome in my office (Zoom room for now).
Important Advising Information:
We are excited to welcome Sydney Webb as the new advisor for the School of Global Integrative Studies. While we are continuing to train Sydney, we would ask that you continue to utilize Sarah Feit for your advising-related questions through the end of August. You can schedule with her at https://unl.starfishsolutions.com/starfish-ops/dl/instructor/serviceCatalog.html?bookmark=connection/1322540/schedule. Once Sydney is fully trained, we’ll provide you with information on how to schedule with her.
As we start the fall semester, we will continue to be available for meetings via Zoom. Due to social distancing limitations within offices, remote meetings are the best way for us to connect, share information, and help you identify next steps for success! Your appointments can be scheduled as usual in MyPLAN, or by emailing the Academic and Career Advising Center at casadvising@unl.edu.
