Nominations are open for the Chancellor’s Outstanding Contribution to Women Award. The Chancellor’s Commission on the Status of Women is accepting nominations through Feb. 18 for outstanding faculty, staff and students who have worked to create a climate that encourages women to succeed at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. These efforts may come from an individual, organization or department within the institution.
To qualify for the award, recipients must demonstrate a sustained and tangible impact on the campus community. Up to three awards will be given: one for a faculty or staff member (individual), one for a student (individual), and one for a department or organization.
Recipients will be invited to attend The Power of Husker Women: A Night of Celebration Dinner on Thursday, March 6, where they will receive the awards.
Nominations must include a nomination form, nomination letter and two additional letters of support from colleagues or those who can speak to the qualities that make a nominee deserving of the award
Supporting documentation may be included but is not required. More information can be found online or by contacting the Chancellor’s Commission on the Status of Women at ccsw@unl.edu.
