School of Natural Resources Career Information Fair

The School of Natural Resources will be hosting the sixth annual Natural Resource Career Information Fair Wednesday, January 30, between 11:00 and 1:30 in the Hardin Hall first and second floor lobbies.

The fair will feature approximately 25 organizations who frequently hire students and alumni with a background in natural resources. Representatives from groups such as Nebraska Game and Parks, Nebraska Wildlife Rehab Inc, USDA Forest Service, and Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo will be on site to guide students through the job application process, recommend experiences that could open doors to the field, and answer general questions regarding career pathways.

“This is a great opportunity for students to network with agencies and alumni associated with SNR,” said Sara Winn, undergraduate advising coordinator for the School of Natural Resources. “We found that many students requested this kind of event as an opportunity to build relationships with future employers.”

The fair will run as an open house, so students are welcome to drop by whenever they are able. Pizza and soda will be provided.
