In Outlook, it can be helpful to see all your unread email messages in one location even if they are scattered throughout your inbox and other folders. If your email account does not already have an Unread Mail Folder in it, it can be added quite easily.
1. Open Outlook to your Mail.
2. In the right hand column of folders, right click on "Search Folder."
3. Click on "New Search Folder."
4. In the "New Search Folder" dialog box, select "Unread Mail."
5. Click "OK." It will create "Unread Mail" folder in the "Search Folder."
6. If you want easy access to the folder, Drag and Drop "Unread Mail" folder to "Favorites" folder at the top of the column or right click on "Unread Mail" folder and "Select Show in Favorites."
