The SNR Wellness Kickoff Meeting will take place from 2-3:30 p.m., Oct. 24 in the Hardin Hall auditorium (room 107). Kimberly Barrett, assistant director of wellness services at UNL Campus Rec, will talk about wellness activities and the upcoming Wellness on Wheels event on Oct. 30.
Wellness on Wheels is a program where participants can complete a Health Risk Assessment, which provides additional benefits regarding related to participants' health insurance. A basic metabolic profile can also be purchased for $25 (the profile includes bloodwork that provides levels of blood sugar, cholesterol, triglycerides, etc.).
The Oct. 30 event will take place from 8-9:30 a.m. in the NET building in the meeting and events room. Other dates and locations are available.
