UNL's College of Business Administration will offer a GMAT strategy workshop from 8:30-11:30 a.m. May 30. The workshop prepares prospective graduate students for the Graduate Management Admission Test and will be led by Stephanie Espy, founder and president of Atlanta-based MathSP: Strategies and Problem-solving.
The GMAT measures verbal, mathematical and analytical writing skills for graduate admission. The workshop is designed to give those interested in learning strategies and approaches for taking the GMAT a competitive edge.
Those interested in jumpstarting their GMAT prep are invited to register for the GMAT Strategy Workshop at http://cba.unl.edu/gmat by May 20.
The registration fee is $95 and includes The Official Guide for GMAT Review 2015 book, continental breakfast and a comprehensive GMAT information packet. If participants already own the book, registration is $60.
Registration begins at 8 a.m. in the College of Business Administration, Room 128. Registrants are encouraged to park in the parking garage at 11th and Q streets and dress in casual attire.

An official score on the GMAT is one of the admissions requirements for the UNL College of Business Administration master's and doctoral programs, including the Master of Business Administration. The UNL MBA is designed for students with a bachelor's degree in any field and offers ultimate flexibility with on-campus and distance options.
The GMAT is also required for CBA's two new master's programs, including the master of arts in business administration and the master of arts in business with a specialization in Intercollegiate athletics administration.
