The School of Natural Resources is home to talented people, many of whom the media reach out to for comments on current affairs. Check out the stories featuring SNR that got people buzzing this October.

• The Union of Concerned Scientists featured a Q&A on Oct. 11 with drought experts, Mike Hayes and Tonya Haigh, with the National Drought Mitigation Center. • The soils team, comprised of students from SNR and Ag/Hort, were featured in the Oct.13 Journal Star for their participation in the Regional Soils Judging Competition.
