The Executive Council of Multicultural Organizations, ASUN and the men’s basketball team are co-sponsoring a Unity Rally at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 14, at Nebraska Union Auditorium. They will be distributing “Hate Will Never Win” T-shirts.
Donde Plowman, executive vice chancellor and chief academic officer, announced the rally in an email to faculty and staff late Monday evening.
The rally comes after more than 250 faculty and staff and more than 120 students joined Chancellor Ronnie Green, Plowman and other top administrators Feb. 9 for frank discussions of campus climate and other issues arising after the public identification of a student as an admitted white nationalist.
