This Fall, we are inviting you to help lay those blocks by becoming an NCLUDE Anchor.

NCLUDE learning groups are dedicated spaces for faculty, staff, students, and community members to talk candidly about belonging. You don’t need to be an expert to lead; you simply need a commitment to creating a space where others can learn and grow. As an Anchor, you provide the logistical foundation, while we provide the educational resources and training to ensure your group thrives.
The process is designed to be seamless, allowing you to focus on the conversation rather than the administration:

  • Create: Choose a topic that elevates diverse perspectives or enhances community-building skills. You can design your group for the general campus or a specific department.
  • Prepare: You select the dates and modality. We handle the registration, and help promote the group. Every Anchor also attends a 60-minute training to master facilitation tools and logistics.
  • Anchor: You facilitate the meetings across six sessions.

Featured Initiative: The Five Dysfunctions of a Team
This fall, we are hosting a major campus-wide initiative centered on Patrick Lencioni’s "The Five Dysfunctions of a Team." This curriculum offers a powerful framework for understanding how to build trust and drive collective results within any group.
We are specifically looking for your help to bring this initiative to life. Here is how you can get involved:
  • Anchor a Group for Your Unit: Take the lead by hosting this specific curriculum for your own department. It is an excellent way to strengthen your immediate team’s dynamics and build a shared language around accountability.
  • Spread the Word: Help us bridge institutional silos by sharing this opportunity with colleagues across the university.
  • Plan to Participate: If anchoring isn't for you this time, look out for registration details to join a general campus cohort and engage with peers from diverse departments.

Whether you choose to lead a group on this featured topic or a unique subject of your own, your involvement helps create a greater sense of belonging for all. Join us for the Fall semester and help move our community forward, one conversation at a time.
