The University Honors Program and the Center for Transformative Teaching are seeking nominations for the 2025 Honors Innovative Teaching Awards. These awards recognize faculty who utilize innovative pedagogy, creative teaching, and are effective at enhancing the student experience. Nominations are due May 1.
To nominate yourself or others, complete the online nomination form, which requires an explanation of the innovating teaching technique(s) and the effect it has on students and learning.
Instructors of any rank/title from any department who teach Honors seminar courses — 189H, UHON 298H, UHON 395H, department Honors courses, or who engage in innovating work with Honors course contracts are eligible.
Up to two awards of $1000 each in professional development funds will be announced at the Honors Graduation Celebration on May 15, 4:30-6 p.m.
