Academic Technologies will be offering training sessions as part of the Learning Series through the end of the spring semester. The series is a weekly technology training opportunity featuring one-hour Zoom sessions that highlight a variety of tools and services from the Academic Technologies portfolio. Each session focuses on a specific service and is designed to help participants build practical skills.
- Akindi Feb. 10, 11a.m. – Learn how to create Akindi paper assessments and about new features including question scrambling and matching questions. Register online.
- Polling App Feb. 19, 2 p.m. – Learn how to get started with the Polling App and how poll results can be imported directly into the Canvas gradebook. Register online.
- Perusall Feb. 24, 11 a.m. – Learn about Perusall's updated user interface and how to use the tool in your courses. Register online.
- ChatGPT 101 March 3, 11 a.m. – Learn practical prompting strategies and how to create and personalize your own custom GPTs. Register online.
- Academic Misconduct 101 March 9, 9 a.m. – Student Conduct and Community Standards will review student conduct workflows and share new data on academic misconduct trends. Learn about assessment technologies that can help deter misconduct. Register online.

- Drop-in Sessions: For quick help with Canvas, YuJa, Zoom, or any other tech tools, join our Zoom Drop-in sessions Monday-Thursday, 1-4 p.m. at go.unl.edu/zoomdropins. The link is also in the Canvas Help Menu.
- Recorded Sessions: If you can’t attend a scheduled training, all sessions are recorded and available in the Academic Technologies Shared Folder on YuJa.
- Custom Sessions: For a synchronous online or in-person session on a specific topic, contact nusupport@nebraska.edu to schedule a one-on-one help session or a departmental presentation. We can provide small-scale, tailored training for any faculty or staff group on campus.
