The Office of Undergraduate Research is seeking students who have participated in undergraduate research experiences to serve as research ambassadors for the 2016-2017 academic year. Ambassadors are paid hourly to represent the Office of Undergraduate Research at various functions and events including on-campus recruiting days, student receptions, class visits, first-year seminars and fall semester check in.
Ambassadors give short (10 to 20 minute) presentations to prospective and current students, UNL faculty and staff, and other distinguished visitors about their undergraduate research experiences. Ambassadors are expected to participate in at least three events per semester and will not be asked to miss class to participate.
