
On Feb. 22, UNL Campus Recreation celebrates National Rec Sports and Fitness Day by opening their doors to invite all UNL faculty, staff, and students plus their spouse, partner, and family to exercise and play for no charge in the Campus Rec Center and East Campus Activities Building. Visitors need only to show their NCard to enter.
Strength and weight training equipment, treadmills, ellipticals, cycles, and basketball are available at both locations; the city campus location also has indoor swimming, indoor walking/jogging track, badminton, racquetball, squash, and volleyball. Locker rooms with showers and towel service also available.
The daily hours for Feb. 22 are 5:45 a.m. to midnight at the Campus Rec Center and 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. at the EC Activities Building.
Additionally, the following group fitness classes will be free to everyone on Feb. 22:
• REV indoor cycling, 6:15 to 7 a.m. in CREC The Studio
• REV indoor cycling, 7:15 to 8 a.m. in CREC The Studio
• Power Pump, 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. in CREC fitness room
• Zumba, 12:15 to 12:55 p.m. in CREC combative arts room
• REV cycling, 12:15 to 12:55 p.m. in CREC The Studio
• Cardio Fusion, 12:15 to 12:55 p.m. in ECAB fitness room
• Quick Crunch, 1-1:15 p.m. in CREC fitness room
