UNL's Julie Hye Yung Yoon and Gregory Beaver continue their series of performances of "J.S. Bach's Complete Works for Unaccompanied Violin and Cello" at 7:30 p.m., Feb. 28 and March 1 in St. Marks on the Campus, 13th and R streets. The performance is free and open to the public.
Both Yoon and Beaver are members of the Chiara String Quartet. The quartet has been in residence in the School of Music since 2005. Yoon plays the violin, Beaver, the cello.
The Feb. 28 performance will feature Bach's Suite No. 1 in G Major for Solo Cello, BWV 1007; Sonata No. 3 in C major for Solo Violin, BWV 1005; and Suite No. 4 in E flat Major for Solo Cello, BWV 1010.
The March 1 performance will feature Bach's Partita No. 3 in E major for Solo Violin, BWV 1006; Suite No. 6 in D Major for Solo Cello, BWV 1012; and Partita No. 2 in D minor for Solo Violin, BWV 1004.
