Jessie Fernandez, a master's student in UNL's Wilson Research Group, will present " At the Interface: Understanding the Magnaporthe oryzae — Plan Host Interaction at the Molecular Level," at 4 p.m., March 5 in 264 Keim Hall. The seminar is free and open to the public.
The Wilson Research Group is led by Richard Wilson, assistant professor of plant pathology. Wilson researchers how plant pathogenic fungi perceive the environment and cause disease. He targets the rice blast fungus M. oryzae and the mycotoxigenic fungi.
