The deadline to submit proposals to the "Give Back Big" campaign is Oct. 5. The campaign is a competition for faculty, staff and students to receive funding for proposals designed to change the world around them.
Due to demand, the "Give Back Big" committee expanded the program to award two $1,000 grants. Proposals are due by 5 p.m. Oct. 5 to the Center for Civic Engagement. The proposals will be put to an online campus vote (http://engage.unl.edu/give-back-big) starting Oct. 8.
