Lied Commons dedication is Oct. 19

The Lied Center for Performing Arts will dedicate its new Lied Commons addition at 11 a.m. Oct. 19. The addition is a new venue for receptions, dinners, meetings, small concerts and other special events. The dedication, which is free and open to the public, will include live music and refreshments. 'African Art in Unlikely Places' opens Oct. 19

Speech and Debate team earns second Big Ten title

UNL Speech and Debate became two-time champions of the Big Ten Conference with its victory at the Conference Challenge Tournament Oct. 13-14 at Northwestern University.
