Alice Kang, assistant professor of political science and ethnic studies, will present "Islam and Women's Rights in a Global Context" at 5:30 p.m., Feb. 2 in the Nebraska Union auditorium. Part of the Nebraska Colloquium lecture series, the event is free and open to the public.
The Nebraska Colloquium is a series of lectures designed to engage the entire UNL community in thoughtful discussion of important issues. The theme for the 2010-2011 series is "Globalization's Promise."
