Martin Eberhard will discuss "Electric Vehicles: The Big Picture" at 4 p.m. today in Othmer Hall 106. Eberhard co-founded Tesla Motors, maker of a battery electric sportscar with 244 mile (EPA) range, zero emissions and acceleration from 0-60 miles per hour in less than four seconds.
The lecture is co-sponsored by the Electrical Engineering Student Chapter of IEEE PES/PELS and the Nebraska Center for Energy Sciences Research.
