Matt Oltman, music director of the award-winning vocal ensemble Chanticleer, will work with UNL conducting students and choirs on Feb. 9.
Oltman will instruct students enrolled in graduate choral conducting (11:30 a.m. to 12:20 p.m.), the University Singers (1:30 to 2:20 p.m.) and the Varsity Men's Chorus (2:30 to 3:20 p.m.). All sessions will be in Westbrook Music Building, room 130.
Chanticleer is a San Francisco-based Grammy-winning vocal ensemble. Oltman has been a member since 1999. He is now the music director of the group. Oltman is a highly sought conductor, editor, clinician and performer appearing in concert halls around the world.
The sessions are free and open to the public.
