The Cooper Foundation announced grant awards to the International Quilt Study Center and Museum and UNL's E.N. Thompson Forum on World Issues.
The quilt museum received $8,825 to support the exhibition "Elegant Geometry: American and British Mosaic Patchwork." The exhibit opens May 28.
The Cooper Foundation also awarded $13,921 to support the Thompson Forum. The lecture series offers Nebraskans thought provoking lectures by speakers whose work and ideas impact the world.
The awards, announced in December, were among 14 grants totaling $144,946 approved by the Cooper Foundation. For more information, go to http://www.cooperfoundation.org.
