'A Chorus Line' comes to the Lied March 4-5

The nine-time Tony Award-winning musical, "A Chorus Line" will play three performances at the Lied Center for Performing Arts. Show times are 7:30 p.m., March 4-5, and 2 p.m., March 5.

"A Chorus Line" is a musical about Broadway dancers auditioning for spots on a chorus line. The production features 19 main characters and is set on the bare stage of a Broadway theater. The show provides glimpses into the personalities of the performers and the choreographer as they describe events that have shaped their lives and decisions to become dancers.

The original "Chorus Line" book was authored by James Kirkwood Jr., and Nicholas Dante. Lyrics were written by Edward Kleban, with music composed by Marvin Hamlisch.
