UNL is hosting the Committee on Institutional Cooperation's Academic Leadership Program, April 4-6. This is the last of three seminars and features 80 fellows and liaisons from Big Ten universities.
The seminar theme is "Money Management and Strategies." It includes sessions that discuss the topic in the context of higher education.
"The Academic Leadership Program is the CIC's flagship professional development program and has a long history of producing future deans, provosts and presidents,” said Lance C. Pérez, associate vice chancellor for academic affairs. “This is an exciting time for our campus and we are honored to host this seminar.”
Five UNL administrators are completing the CIC's Academic Leadership Program this year. They are Laurie Bellows, associate dean of Graduate Studies; Nancy Busch, interim dean of the University Libraries; Archie Clutter, dean of UNL's Agricultural Research Division and director of the Nebraska Agricultural Experiment Station; Valery Forbes, director of the School of Biological Sciences; and Kim Wilson, interim dean of the College of Architecture.
