Turner earns German research award

Joe TurnerJoe Turner, professor of mechanical and materials engineering, has received a Friedrich Wilhelm Bessel Research Award from the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation in Germany. Fountain Frolics concert series opens June 6

UNL's Fountain Frolics concert series opens June 6 with the band Jumpin' Kate and the Naked Reserves.The band Jumpin' Kate and the Naked Reserves will open the 15th year of Fountain Frolics concerts with a noon, June 6 performance outside the Nebraska Union. The UNL Dairy Store will offer a $4 hot dog, chips and soda lunch. Dairy Store ice cream will also be available. Continue reading…
