The band Jumpin' Kate and the Naked Reserves will open the 15th year of Fountain Frolics concerts with a noon, June 6 performance outside the Nebraska Union.

Organized by the University Program Council, the free concert series features a wide variety of performers playing during the lunch hour under the Nebraska Union's north overhang nearly every Thursday through Aug. 1. The UNL Dairy Store will serve a hot dog, chips and soda lunch for $4. Ice cream will also be available for purchase.

Other performance dates and bands featured are: June 13, Tupelo Springfield; June 20, Skylark; June 27, The Lightning Bugs; July 11, Broad Appeal; July 18, Nebraska Jazz Combo; July 25, The Resonators; and Aug. 1, The Cronin Bros.
