Nebraska EPSCoR's competitive FIRST Award grant program helps fuel research projects of Nebraska's early career faculty. The award grants up to $20,000 for one year, with a 100 percent matching requirement.
Any project that could qualify for support by a National Science Foundation standard research grant is eligible for a FIRST Award. Eligible faculty must be assistant professors in the first four years of a tenure track position and must be eligible to apply for an NSF CAREER Award during the award period.
