UNL's annual Fiesta on the Green, a celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, is 6 p.m., today on the Nebraska Union Plaza.
The free, public event features food, song and dance that honors the contribution of cultures associated with Mexico, the Caribbean, Central American and South America. Featured performers are Mariachi Zapata, Alicia Dominguez and Marcos and Sabor.
In event of rain, Fiesta on the Green will move in the Nebraska Union Ballroom.
