The first event in the Advance-Nebraska series is noon to 1:30 p.m., Sept. 22 in the East Union. The conversation will address topics that relate to establishing an operational lab, from recruiting new graduate and post-doctorate students to managing a research group.
The Advance-Nebraska program is funded by a five-year grant from the National Science Foundation that will enable UNL to recruit and support female faculty in the science, technology, engineering and mathematics fields.
