The Chancellor's University Safety Committee is holding an open forum meeting, 3 to 4:30 p.m., Oct. 18 in the Nebraska Union. The forum is designed for faculty and staff to share concerns or just observe how the committee operates.
The safety committee will also take part in the Supplier Showcase, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Oct. 18 in the Nebraska Union Centennial Room. Information will be presented on UNL's safety resources and required training.
The Chancellor's University Safety Committee was established to make recommendations on methods to reduce safety hazards on campus. Faculty, staff and students can contact the committee chair at any time with safety questions or concerns. Quarterly meetings are open to the entire campus community.
