The next University Association for Administrative Development meeting is 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m., Oct. 19 in the East Union. The featured presentation on the Center for Civic Engagement will be give by Linda Moody, assistant director of the center.
Moody will discuss the service learning opportunities the center offers to UNL students, including the Nebraska Campus Compact program and the Civic Engagement Certificate program. She will also cover ways faculty and staff can volunteer time and talents to better the campus community.
Regular UAAD meetings are 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m., the third Wednesday of the month, September through May. Each session starts with a short business meeting followed by a presentation by an invited speaker. Individuals who attend can bring a lunch.
