Brandon Davies from UCLA will present a seminar, “The Critical Role of GPIHBP1 in Triglyceride Metabolism” at 11:30 a.m., Nov. 16, in the Nebraska East Union, Columbine Room, hosted by the Department of Nutrition and Health Sciences.
Davies’ research explores the role of endothelial cells in triglyceride metabolism, with an emphasis on trans-endothelial transport and the mechanisms by which endothelial cell-specific gene expression is established and maintained in the microvasculature.
A reception will follow the seminar with refreshments available. All interested faculty, students, and staff are welcome.
