Student Staff Spotlight: Tammy
This past month, we had our last day of work with our amazing student staff, Tammy! Tammy has been a student staff in ETS for almost three and a half years. Though we are sad to lose her in ETS, we are so proud of her for starting a new paid internship in her career area. She is an Accounting major at the College of Business. She has made everything we do possible, from helping process applications, helping get us ready for programs, to helping out at events.
We surveyed our staff and asked what they appreciate and will miss about Tammy:
"Words about Tammy are hard to pick between so many :'). As a worker she is dedicated, consistent, and detail oriented. As a person she is thoughtful, sweet, fun, kind, and so many other wonderful qualities."
"Tammy is sweet, funny, kind, smart, resourceful, and much more."
"I will miss her energy, her presence, and her friendliness."
"Tammy is freakishly efficient and unbelievably calm. She brings confidence to everything she does."
"She could help in any situation, a woman of many trades."
Upcoming: Day in the Life of a College Student
ETS Seniors that plan on obtaining a four year degree, come experience a day in the life of a college student with TRIO ETS.
Scholars will have the opportunity to:
- attend college classes
- eat lunch at the dining hall
- spend time with a current UNL student
- explore various campus resources that a four year university can provide.
