Student Spotlight: Adabella on Broadway

This summer, one of our dedicated ETS students, Bella, was selected to join a musical theater troupe that performed on Broadway. The performance was part of Arts for Autism, an annual Broadway benefit event where prominent Broadway stars collaborate with performing arts students from across the country. This renowned event aims to raise funds in support of individuals on the autism spectrum. Bella, who lettered in theater as a freshman at Lincoln High, made her Broadway debut this past June, marking a significant achievement in her theatrical journey. We are incredibly proud of Bella's accomplishments and look forward to seeing her continue to shine.

They also picked out an outfit from the Career Closet in the UNL College of Business and had mock interviews with professionals from the community.

Cookies and Careers: Criminal Justice Fields provided an opportunity for middle and high school students to learn from professionals from the ACLU, Nebraska Law College, Rise Omaha, and Elevate Omaha about the different processes of the criminal justice system.

For our annual out-of-state college visit this year we went to Kansas City to visit Peru State College, Kansas City Art Institute, Avila University, University of Missouri - Kansas City, Missouri Western. Students stayed in the University of Missouri-Kansas City dorms, got to spend an evening experiencing the rec center.
