RE: is a new newsletter/information channel from UNL Information Technology Services. The title "Re:" refers to the values we hold as a technology provider to the University: Reliable. Resourceful. Relevant.
IS now called Information Technology Services
The name of Information Services has changed to Information Technology Services. In the near future we will release a rebranded website, as well as improved communication and resources as your campus IT partner.
Microsoft will begin the upgrade process for UNL's student email, ‘huskers.unl.edu,’ to Office 365 for Education on Friday July 26th. Microsoft's enhancement of services to higher education will give access to more online services and tools. Huskers.unl.edu email email addresses will not change. Continue reading…
UNL students, faculty and staff will be able to use their MyUNL credentials to access WiFi service at participating institutions worldwide beginning August 4. eduroam (education roaming) is a secure, world-wide roaming access service developed for the international research and education community. All UNLcms websites will migrate to a new hosting service, ScaleMatrix on Friday August 2, 2013 starting at 6:00 pm through 6:00 p.m. Saturday. Sites will remain online during the move. UNL is disabling access for 802.11b devices on its wireless network, effective August 17. Devices using 802.11b or "B" are subject to greater interference and operate at much slower speeds, degrading WiFi performance for other devices on the network. Continue reading…
