OS support contract helps campus Apple users

Apple users on campus are benefitting from an AppleCareOS support agreement that parallels the University’s Microsoft support contract. The agreement, signed this Fall, provides enterprise-level incident support for all Apple software, including:
• OS X & OS X Server
• iOS
• All Apple Applications (Including Pro Apps)
• Cross-Platform Integration
• Profile Deployment & Configuration
• Hardware Troubleshooting (This program does not cover hardware repair, it is a supplement to existing hardware warranty.)

“We’re very excited to announce this new service for UNL.” says Phil Redfern, Enterprise Apple Administrator. “Apple adoption has been accelerating and this contract will improve the quality of support we provide Apple users across campus.”

This new service is available at no-cost to UNL Colleges and Departments and provides unlimited support incidents. To request Apple technical support, please contact the UNL Computer Help Center by email at mysupport@unl.edu or by calling (402) 472-3970.
