  • Position Reports to: Reshell Ray, Associate Director of Student Involvement
  • Work Location: 200 Nebraska Union and 300 Nebraska East Union
  • Basic Function of Position: Plan, coordinate, and implement late night/ weekend programs for City and East Campuses. Serve as assistant advisor for the Campus NightLife board. Assist in the supervision and management of East Campus office and staff. Assist with marketing and promotion for all events. Work in collaboration with campus departments to provide student centered events and programs.

Student Involvement Responsibilities: 15%
  1. Participate as an active staff member in all Student Involvement training, orientation, and staff development meetings, programs and committees.
  2. Assist in the development of collaborative projects across other SI content areas whenever possible.
  3. Assist in the development of collaborative projects with other campus offices/ departments/divisions as opportunities arise to help achieve the goals and mission of Student Involvement.
  4. Assist students and other customers of Student Involvement as needed.

Content Area Responsibilities: 85%
  1. Assist with management and supervision of Campus NightLife (CNL) events.
  2. Assist in the advising of the Campus NightLife Program Advisory Board.
  3. Complete CNL contracts, riders, obtain appropriate signatures and send to contractors or facilities
  4. Assist in the marketing and promotion of all events in collaboration with the Board.
  5. Provide updates and ensure accuracy of CNL information on website.
  6. Develop, plan and implement CNL Advisory Board retreats and professional development.
  7. Establish one on one meetings with CNL Advisory Board members and provide professional development to enable each member to be an effective contributor to the organization.
  8. Assist in the management of the East Campus office and supervision of staff.
  9. Identify opportunities for collaboration with East Campus departments and student organizations.
  10. Assist with Weekend programming and International student events
