Engineering Student Trainee Employment Opportunity:

 Omaha District’s Engineering Division is seeking an engineering student trainee for part-time employment (6-20 hrs/wk) in our Protective Design Center Branch in Omaha, Nebraska.

Job Description:
The duties for the open position include assisting in website forum/email management, assisting senior engineers in security and blast engineering design and analysis; researching and collecting technical data; performing analyses and calculations using standard mathematical and engineering formulas; recording factual data from tests and other studies by manual or computerized systems.

Mission: 
The Protective Design Center (PDC) is the Army's center of expertise for engineering services related to force protection and protective design. We provide engineering design and support services to the Army for both permanent and expedient applications and to DOD and other U.S. Government agencies to protect assets against criminal, terrorist, conventional, nuclear and special weapon threats (http://www.nwo.usace.army.mil/pdc/home).
