Successful Development of LC-MS Applications:
A Mass Spectrometry Summit

Tuesday, March 21, 2023
8:00am - 3:00pm CDT

University of Nebraska-Lincoln
331 Nebraska East Union
1705 Arbor Dr Lincoln, NE 68583
Prairie Suite – Third Floor

Industrial growth, agricultural processes, and waste handling can each pose a threat to the environment and human health. As we strive to protect and preserve our water sources and food supplies, accurate and efficient analytical testing methods are needed to understand potential impacts. Chemicals such as PFAS, herbicides, cyanotoxins, and pesticides like neonicotinoids and glyphosate, are examples of common contaminants of interest, and are ideal candidates for testing with liquid chromatography coupled to mass spectrometry (LC-MS).

New developments in LC-MS are giving scientists powerful new tools for identifying and quantifying legacy and emerging chemical contaminants in water, soil and a wide variety of sample matrices.

Please join us for an in-person event on the University of Nebraska- Lincoln campus to learn about these latest innovations in analytical technologies and sample preparation strategies to overcome challenges in LC-MS and environmental applications.

Discussion Topics:

Introduction to Waters Food and Environmental Testing Capabilities
Optimizing Sample Preparation Strategies for Contaminant Testing
Successful LC-MS Method Development: Best Practices with Advanced Technology
Analytical Applications for PFAS, Pesticides and other Chemical Contaminants of Concern Using UPLC-MS/MS
